Troubled fashion influencer Zhang Chun has died suddenly, aged 29, after suffering from heart problems.
Her passing was announced by her mother following the funeral on Monday, who shared:‘It happened suddenly, it was a sudden death.’
She revealed that Zhang had an underlying heart condition and a long-standing habit of staying up late, suggesting her lifestyle may have been a major factor.
The Chinese influencer, who was known online as Ni De Du Kou, fell ill in the early hours of January 1.
She was rushed to hospital, but doctors could not save her.
Zhang – once dubbed ‘the Sneaker Goddess’ – first found fame in 2018 after sharing snaps of her wearing different trainers and matching outfits.
Her clean-cut university student image helped her to stand out in the local fashion and streetwear scene.
Zhang, who had than a million followers online, then ventured into entertainment and performed at numerous hip-hop events.

She reportedly struggled with depression during this time.
Zhang’s public image was damaged further in 2024 when fans reacted angrily to her decision to join an adult content platform to help pay off her debts.
She lost many followers and suffered intense online abuse, according to reports.
Last year, the influencer broke down in tears during a livestream and revealed that she had contracted syphilis, as reported by NeedToKnow.
She said the STD caused severe skin problems and showed her badly ulcerated left arm to the camera.
Zhang was cremated in Shanghai on Monday, according to her mother.
An outpouring of tributes has flooded social media following the influencer’s death.
